In the lunch meals at Alaska, there is one dish that rarely changes, yet every student enjoys it, with many even asking the teacher for seconds – that dish is plain rice.
Using fragrant plain rice provided by the Quế Lâm Group, the chefs at Alaska skillfully prepare steaming trays of white rice, which have a light aroma and a rich, sweet flavor.
Along with the white rice, the menu for meals is prepared by Alaska with daily changing dishes… Therefore, lunch at Alaska is, for many children, a truly delicious and nutritious meal.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Alaska has over 1,000 students enrolled in preschool and elementary school. 100% of them eat lunch at school. With three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), it can be said that the amount of food they consume daily at school exceeds the amount they use at home. For this reason, how to prepare food so that students enjoy it while ensuring nutrition and food safety is a matter of special concern for Alaska.

As the person responsible for selecting food supplies for the Alaska Education System, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Luyen, the Operations Director of the System, has directly visited and learned about the production processes of food suppliers for Alaska in hopes of finding the highest quality providers.
“In addition to reputable suppliers of meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits with clear origins, for the regular rice used for cooking, Alaska decided to choose Que Lam Group as the supplier right from the time the school began operations.
The reason Alaska made this decision in 2018 and has remained loyal to Que Lam until today is that we are very confident in the organic production process (saying ‘NO’ to genetically modified products, herbicides, chemical pesticides, preservatives, and artificial flavorings) that Que Lam Group applies across all raw material regions,” Ms. Luyen shared.

With a monthly rice import of nearly 2 tons, the Alaska Education System is one of the few educational institutions in Hanoi, and indeed across the country, that dares to use Que Lam organic rice for the daily lunches of students and staff throughout the system.

Recognizing the concern and investment of the leadership of the Alaska Education System in the issue of school nutrition, in 2018, Que Lam Group offered Alaska special privileges as a level 1 distributor, along with additional exclusive benefits for Alaska School.
This can be seen as support and partnership from Que Lam Group to help Alaska improve the quality of meals for teachers and students, while also contributing to the development of a sustainable organic agriculture sector.
