ALASKA ACADEMY: 3 STUDENTS REACH THE “TOP 30” OF THE YOUNG TRANSLATOR SEARCH CONTEST

After a period of diligently “touching words” to create amazing translations, the TOP 30 most outstanding contestants of the “Touch the Word 2024” Young Translator Search Contest organized by Crabit Kidbooks have officially been revealed.

We are delighted to announce that Alaska International Elementary School has 3 students – potential young translators – who have made it to round 2 of “Touch the Word 2024”, after surpassing over 500 contestants from elementary and middle schools across the country.

With the desire to spread the message “Love sparkles” – Crabit Kidbooks has chosen the book “The boy with flowers in his hair” (a famous children’s book for students from grades 2-5) for translation in “Touch the Word 2024”.

With their daily accumulation of English vocabulary and their nurtured passion for reading, the 3 little Alaskids have completed their translations with clear, sweet, and joyful sentences.
