SPORT DAY 2024 - WE CAN…

Sport Day 2024 is a moment for us to share the stories of Alaska’s extraordinary athletes.

They are our teachers, cooks, security guards, and staff members working at the Alaska Education System.

Putting aside their daily work, participating in Sport Day 2024 with 4 competitions: Tug-of-war, basketball, plank, and jumping rope – many athletes/teams have surprised everyone with exciting performances right on the windy schoolyard.

Each competition is a combination of joy, excitement, determination to win, and team spirit… helping us understand each other better; to love and connect more.

Let’s join Alaska in looking back at the beautiful pictures of Sport Day 2024 – Where we discover our own strength; witness the unexpected from our colleagues. Where we realize the value of health; where the distance is erased by hugs and bright smiles…
