🍒 It’s only the second day of learning at their new school – Alaska Kindergarten – but the adorable children of Jupiter A3 class have already experienced the “Exploring Lychee” project with so many interesting things.
🍒 The first lychee bunches of the season, plump and with a characteristic aroma, were skillfully prepared by the teacher early in the morning. One by one, the little ones observed and touched them to feel the bright red color of the lychee and the rough, slightly abrasive outer skin.
🍒 Curious and surprised, the children couldn’t hide their excitement when the lychee was peeled by the teacher, revealing the translucent white flesh with a pretty round black-brown seed. Enjoying the thick-fleshed, sweet, and coolly fragrant first lychees of the season… everyone smiled from ear to ear.
🍒 From what they observed and experienced, coloring the lychee bunch picture afterward became so easy: For the lychee, they would choose red, and for the lychee leaves, they would color them green. With a little dexterity of their hands, the children had a beautiful picture to show off to their mothers and teachers.
🍒 With just small lychees, but with a multi-sensory education method (seeing, touching, smelling, tasting, hearing), the “Exploring Lychee” project has brought so many useful and interesting things to the children of Jupiter A3 class.
🍒 Implementing learning projects through experience, the teachers at Alaska believe that giving preschool children experiences with multiple senses not only helps them absorb knowledge naturally but also comprehensively develops their physical, intellectual, language, and essential life skills.❤️
