? Inspired by the beautiful four seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter throughout the year, third-grade students at Alaska Academy engaged in a STEM lesson to design a special clock: the Four Seasons Clock.

? Applying knowledge from Social Studies, the Alaskids identified various characteristics of the seasons: the vibrant flowers of Spring, the lively cicadas of Summer, the golden leaves falling in Autumn, and the warmth of Winter spent with family, as well as appropriate clothing for each season.
? Using a pre-punched round cardboard, a clock hand (in the shape of an arrow), and a floral pin, combined with skills learned in Art class, the third graders skillfully practiced drawing, cutting, and gluing to create a unique and creative clock decorated with themes of weather, trees, and the distinctive attire of each season.
? To complete the Four Seasons Clock, the groups had moments filled with laughter. Each member took on a specific task and then exchanged ideas, discussed, and collaborated to produce a charming clock that conveys the message of the four beautiful seasons of life.
