ALASKA ACADEMY: PHẠM MỸ AN WINS FIRST PLACE IN “THE BEST STUDENT” AWARD AT CASHVILLE KIDZ PROGRAM

In the first school week of November, Alaska Academy received special news from the organizers of the Cashville Kidz Program:

Student Phạm Mỹ An – Class 5A1 – excellently surpassed candidates from many Asian countries to win FIRST PLACE in “The Best Student” award.

Teacher Phan Thuy Duong of Alaska International Primary School has achieved a prestigious ranking in the TOP 3 for “The Best Educator” Award – Vietnam!

Phạm Mỹ An’s submission focused on the content “Saving money plays a crucial role in financial management.” The video filmed at school and the content of her live interview were highly praised by the competition organizers for their quality of information, rich English vocabulary, and confident, coherent presentation style.

Teacher Phan Thuy Duong deservedly earned her place as one of Vietnam’s exemplary educators on the TOP 3 list for the Cashville Kidz ‘The Best Educator’ Award. This recognition comes from her proactive and creative approach to organizing engaging lessons, which actively encouraged students’ enthusiastic participation, experiences, and contributions in discussions about: Saving, Spending, Budgeting, and Investing.

Cashville Kidz is a reputable financial education program for children across Asia. It is organized by MoneyTree Asia Pacific in collaboration with Maybank and the Maybank Foundation.

In 2025, ten schools in Vietnam received free sponsorship to implement the Cashville Kidz Program. This marks the second time Alaska Academy has participated.
