ALASKA ACADEMY: PARENTS JOINING TEACHERS IN CLASS

Last week was a very special week for the children at Alaska Preschool.

They not only learned with their teachers but also had the opportunity to learn alongside their mothers; not only did they go to school, but they also visited their friends’ homes.

As part of the initiative “Parents in Class with Teachers,” many parents were invited by the teachers to come to class and share their experiences, providing opportunities for the children to learn about various professions such as computer engineering, law enforcement, flight attending, and cooking.

Speaking about the “Parents in Class with Teachers” initiative, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Phuong, Principal of Alaska Preschool, shared: “Through these classes with the teachers, I believe that parents will gain a better understanding of the challenges and joys faced by preschool teachers, which will help them support their children more effectively. Furthermore, this is also an opportunity for the students to learn about different careers, realizing that while every job has its difficulties, there are also many interesting aspects to explore…”
