✏️ Formed and developed throughout the nation’s long history, the Red River Delta region of Northern Vietnam (Đồng bằng Bắc Bộ) carries many unique characteristics.
Therefore, exploring the cultural features of the Red River Delta not only fulfills the requirements of the specialized History – Geography lesson but also becomes a source of joy for the Alaskids of Class 4A2, Alaska International Primary School.
✏️ How exciting and interesting it was for the Alaskids to:
📍Wear the traditional costumes of the Red River Delta people.
📍“Flip through the puzzle pieces” and “overcome obstacles” to discover fascinating facts surrounding the village gate, ancient banyan tree, village well, and communal house—the iconic symbols of Northern Vietnamese villages.
📍Observe firsthand and touch the models of Northern Vietnamese traditional housing and discover the similarities/differences between traditional and modern homes.
✏️ Notably, the cultural space of the Northern Village became more vivid and colorful when the Alaskids confidently reported in creative formats such as Drama, drawing, and presentations.
💕 Thank you for a truly enriching lesson—a place that opened up the beautiful and peaceful village scenery to the Alaskids; a place where the students demonstrated their teamwork skills, information gathering/processing skills, and creativity when sharing and presenting.
We hope that from today’s History and Geography lessons, every Alaskid will become a lovely Tourism Ambassador, contributing to the promotion of the beautiful cultural features of our homeland—Vietnam ❤️
