✏️ In Alaska, learning extends beyond the confines of traditional classrooms. Teachers guide Alaskids on exciting journeys, opening their eyes to a vast sky of fascinating knowledge. Suddenly, these young children find learning enjoyable and filled with curiosity, as if they are participating in an engaging game.
✏️ The Vietnamese lesson for the 5A3 Alaskids, taught by Ms. Vu Thi Le, is a prime example of this dynamic approach. With the topic “WILDLIFE CONSERVATION,” Ms. Vu Thi Le cleverly had the character Capybara—the Minister of Relaxation in the wild—share information about the extinction risks facing certain wildlife species and what humans need to do to protect them, in an engaging presentation format.
▶️ Inspired by the story Capybara told and Ms. Le’s suggestions on presentation structure, the four groups of 5A3 students created truly unique and impressive presentations. These showcased not only their CREATIVITY, EXPRESSION, and CONFIDENCE, but also their INITIATIVE in addressing urgent issues that need resolution.
✏️ Learning Vietnamese in Alaska is not merely about developing reading, writing, and composition skills. It also helps children learn how to SPEAK and LISTEN effectively. This goes beyond ordinary communication, as it involves the transmission and reception of information, knowledge, emotions, ideas, and sparkling joy.
