? Has everyone learned how the transformation of water occurs? We invite you to visit Alaska International Primary School to join our 4th and 5th-grade students in the STEM project titled THE JOURNEY OF WATER.

? To ensure that THE JOURNEY OF WATER is also a journey of JOY, stimulating the EXPLORATION and CREATIVITY of the Alaskids, teachers have actively linked this project to meaningful, concrete products, making it especially appealing to the children.
? Using computers and applying the knowledge from Computer Science (Scratch programming), the Alaskids tell the story of a water droplet in a truly unique way.
? From paper, clay, and the skills developed during their Art classes, the “Water Cycle” model impresses teachers and students alike.
? Cute and meaningful, the one-of-a-kind comic strips about water droplets feature charming illustrations.
? Both fun and surprising, through the theatrical format, the Alaskids had unforgettable experiences playing characters in a play about water droplets.
? What’s more, the Alaskids practiced making salt from artificial seawater (sun-drying or boiling) to better understand the conditions and principles behind creating flavorful salt grains.
? Now, let’s take a look at the delightful STEM products from the 4th and 5th graders to see how learning can be just as enjoyable as play—laughing brightly while exploring and discovering new things!❤️
