✏️Today, the Grade 2A2 students at Alaska International Primary School had an English Grammar lesson focusing on: Using demonstrative pronouns (this/that/these/those).
Although this topic is not overly difficult, to make the lesson effective and easy to grasp, Teacher Thúy Anh designed the class in a very impressive way, utilizing visual and lively teaching aids:
✨Warming up with the “Finding Apples” game to introduce the concept of “things that are near and far”.
✨Using the image of real apples to introduce and demonstrate the difference between “Near and one,” “Far and one,” “Near and many,” and “Far and many”.
✨Excitedly engaging in the “Jellyfish Challenges” game to practice identifying and using the demonstrative pronouns in a structured context.
✨Role-playing as shop assistants and customers in the “My Mini Shop” Speaking Game to practice communicating in a real-life situation using demonstrative pronouns.
💕Thanks to a sequence of engaging activities, the lesson on using demonstrative pronouns (this/that/these/those) was lively from start to finish. The Alaskids not only actively participated but also memorized the sentence structures more deeply; their English listening and speaking skills were also honed through familiar and interesting scenarios.❤️
