ALASKA ACADEMY: FLAG CEREMONY ON THE THEME “ROAD TRAFFIC LAW EDUCATION”

With the aim of raising students’ awareness of order and safety while participating in traffic, during the flag ceremony in January 2025, Alaska International School implemented the theme “Promoting and Educating Road Traffic Laws” with the participation of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Huyen and Captain Le Quang Vu from the Traffic Police – Order Team, Cau Giay District Police, Hanoi City.

Sharing with students across the school, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Huyen and Captain Le Quang Vu stated: On average, every 4 minutes, a student dies in a traffic accident worldwide. In Vietnam alone, there are up to 1,700 traffic accidents involving students each year. To participate in traffic safely, understanding the law and equipping oneself with skills is extremely necessary.

Alongside disseminating skills for participating in road traffic, how to choose a standard helmet and wear it correctly, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Huyen also directly invited representatives from the Alaskids to practice in order to gain practical knowledge; thereby enhancing and spreading awareness of maintaining traffic order and safety, contributing to the protection of oneself, family, and loved ones.
