ALASKA ACADEMY: “FAIRY TALES BENEATH THE MOON” – A Magical Mid-Autumn Festival

After many days of excited anticipation, the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 has finally arrived at Alaska Academy!

Under the theme “Cổ tích dưới trăng – Fairy Tales Beneath the Moon,” the Alaskids spent a wonderful day gathering with their friends and teachers to learn about the festival, make bánh dẻo (soft rice cakes), craft lanterns, decorate masks, arrange the festive fruit trays (mâm cỗ), and savor the flavors of pomelo, persimmons, green rice flakes (cốm), and bananas.

Even more fun, in the large schoolyard, guided by their teachers, the children participated in lively folk games: The Jade Rabbit’s Long Jump, Blindfolded Moon Picking, Candy Hunt with the Jade Rabbit, and Challenge with Cuội. These games not only brought bursts of laughter but also developed the children’s agility and dexterity, while strengthening their spirit of unity and bonding.

Beside the beautiful Mid-Autumn trays, lovingly prepared by the parents and teachers, the Alaskids enjoyed a vibrant and sweet party. The Mid-Autumn Festival thus became a beautiful part of their childhood memories at their beloved Alaska Academy.
