ALASKA ACADEMY: EXPLORING THE ANIMAL KINGDOM WITH OUR LITTLE JUPITER EXPLORERS
This December, the students of Class Jupiter B2 at Alaska Preschool have been diving into a fascinating series of lessons all about animals.
Through Unit 7: “Animals,” the children have been exploring how to care for pets, discovering the wonders of farm animals and wildlife, and learning about the incredible life cycles of different species.
With delightful stories told by Teacher Leah, combined with hands-on activities such as cutting, pasting, coloring, and interactive discussions, a vibrant and diverse world of adorable creatures has opened up for our Jupiter B2 students.
More importantly, every piece of information shared is a chance for the children to enrich their English vocabulary. They are practicing: Animal names and their unique characteristics; Habitats – learning where each animal calls home; Movement – describing how animals walk, fly, or swim; Offspring – discovering the specific names for baby animals.
We are so grateful for these engaging English lessons that spark curiosity and bring our students closer to the colorful natural world. Parents, please take a moment at home to chat with your little ones and see how much they have discovered!
