ALASKA ACADEMY: CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ALASKIDS FOR WINNING AWARDS AT THE VANDA NATIONAL JUNIOR SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

At the conclusion of Round 1 of the VANDA National Junior Science Olympiad (VNJSO), Alaska Academy is proud to announce that Alaskids in grades 3 and 4 have earned an impressive collection of awards: 1 Gold Medal, 4 Silver Medals, 5 Bronze Medals, and 1 Encouragement Award.

The VNJSO is an annual international competition for students from grades 3 to 12, designed around the Singapore Science curriculum. It emphasizes higher-order thinking skills and challenges participants to apply their knowledge creatively and critically.

With science education starting as early as grade 1, regular practice in a state-of-the-art laboratory, and guidance from international teachers, Alaska Academy provides students with an exceptional foundation. The VNJSO offers our students a valuable opportunity to showcase their critical thinking, creativity, confidence, and proactive approach to scientific problem-solving—skills they have nurtured through their school experience.

Congratulations to all the Alaskids on their remarkable achievements! We hope this experience inspires you to continue embracing challenges and excelling in future science Olympiad competitions.
