ALASKA ACADEMY: CLASS 1A5 SINGS IN HARMONY WITH THE NATION

Right after the lively opening ceremony for the new school year, the young students of Class 1A5 at Alaska Academy were buzzing with excitement for their Vietnamese lesson on the sounds “M m – N n.”

In celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, and embracing the theme “Singing in Harmony with the Nation,” Teacher Nguyen Hong Ngoc skillfully led Class 1A5 through four engaging challenges.

These activities helped the students easily recognize, accurately read, and confidently write the two new sounds. Using a variety of teaching tools—such as an interactive smartboard, flashcards, textbooks, and slates—Teacher Nguyen Hong Ngoc made the lesson a joyful and lively experience. The children eagerly read and wrote new sounds and words, while also watching videos, singing, and dancing together to commemorate the heroic moments of the National Day anniversary
