🌱 As April arrives, the gentle first rays of summer sunshine usher in a vibrant and bustling season, urging plants and trees to don their new green coats.
📚 To welcome this season of renewal, the young students of Alaska Academy gathered today for the solemn and meaningful April Flag Salute Ceremony, themed “My Beloved Book.”
📚 At the ceremony, Alaskids with outstanding achievements in March were recognized and honored. The titles “STAR OF THE MONTH MARCH” and “BOOK WORM OF THE MONTH MARCH” were presented to exemplary students selected from 21 classes.
📚 This April, as book lovers nationwide celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21st), Alaskids at Alaska Academy will participate in the “BOOK FAIR 2025” event with many meaningful activities. These contributions will help encourage, develop, and spread the “Reading Culture” – a unique cultural feature of Alaska Academy.
📚 In anticipation of “BOOK FAIR 2025,” the thematic activity “My Beloved Book,” presented by Grade 3 Alaskids, surprised teachers and friends with a meaningful Q&A and an impressive choral performance of “Books Open the Future.” The children’s love for books and their adorable performance were truly heartwarming.
📚 Teachers hope that, alongside their studies, Alaskids will always maintain the habit of reading every day, so that the pages of books will forever be their “wise companions” as they grow and mature. ❤️
🌱 WELCOME APRIL – A SEASON OF FRAGRANT FLOWERS AND SWEET FRUITS!
