Alaska Academy: Empowering Parent-School Partnerships

Recognizing the vital role that parental involvement plays in supporting student success, the Alaska Education System organized a workshop seminar titled “Effective Interaction and Connection – Collaboration with Parents.”

The workshop focused on the school’s established “Essential Principles for Communicating and Handling Information with Parents” and “Measures for Building Relationships with Parents.” With a spirit of openness, sincerity, and directness, teachers engaged in meaningful discussions, and shared knowledge, skills, experiences, and best practices to enhance their interactions with parents.

This collaborative approach aims to foster a deeper understanding of students through their home environment and strengthen the school’s and families’ partnership.
