ALASKA ACADEMY: 79 ALASKIDS PROUDLY STAND IN THE RANKS OF THE TEAM

On the morning of March 25, 2024, Alaska International Elementary School solemnly held a ceremony to admit 79 students from grades 3, 4, and 5 to the team.

Under the national flag and the team flag, Minh An from class 3A1, on behalf of the 79 Alaskids, read the oath of the team member when she was honored to stand in the ranks of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Following Minh An’s words, the 79 team members responded in unison, “I promise.”

On behalf of the school’s management board, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Van – Principal of the school – congratulated the 79 new team members, shared with them the meaning of the red scarf and hoped that they would always follow the 3 promises of the team member, study hard and practice, be ready to receive and complete assigned tasks, be worthy of being a good team member, and be an example for friends to learn from.

The most exciting and anticipated moment was when the Alaskids were given the red scarf by their beloved teacher. Every team member was excited and proud. Hopefully, from now on, the red scarf will be like a small but persistent flame, reminding and illuminating the children to be good and mature every day.
