🌱Today, the fascinating world of reptiles was “brought” right into the classroom of our little ones in Mercury A2 at Alaska Preschool by Mr. Jack.
Through vivid visuals and curiosity-sparking questions, Mr. Jack guided the Alaskids into an exciting language and science lesson.
Not only did the children pick up plenty of English vocabulary regarding the traits and names of reptiles, but they also discovered the secret behind why these creatures are called “reptiles”.
🌱The highlight of the class was the interactive wrap-up activity, where the children eagerly took turns coming up to the board to draw their favorite reptile. This hands-on activity was a wonderful way for them to practice their motor skills while naturally reinforcing what they had just learned.
With his gentle, patient approach and positive energy, Mr. Jack beautifully turned the 30-minute Science class into a meaningful “learn-through-play” experience.
A big thank you to Mr. Jack and the wonderful students of Mercury A2 for such an enriching Science lesson—an immersive space where our children could see, hear, speak, draw, and truly understand more about the creatures in the world around us.
