✏️This morning – January 16, 2026 – the Spelling Bee Grand Finale (part of the English Festival 2026) took place with the participation of 72 talented students from 24 classes across Alaska International Primary School.
✨ English: A Natural Second Language
Through daily exposure to English, guided by a curated curriculum and effective teaching methodologies, English has successfully become a familiar SECOND LANGUAGE for the vast majority of Alaskids.
This strong foundation made the Spelling Bee even more captivating—serving as a stage where Alaskids confidently showcased their “rich vocabulary,” deep understanding of “word formation,” and “precise spelling and pronunciation skills.”
🔥 Three Intense Rounds of Competition
Navigating through three challenging rounds—WARM-UP, FACE-OFF, and THE FINISH LINE—with vocabulary spanning various fields, the contestants demonstrated more than just remarkable logic and memory. They also proved their confidence, calm demeanor, and sharp problem-solving skills during high-pressure, head-to-head group competitions.
💕We invite parents and teachers to look back at the memorable moments from the Spelling Bee and share in the joy of victory with Alaska’s brilliant “Vocabulary Warriors.” 🏆🌟
