📍 On the morning of July 2, 2025, representatives from McGraw Hill USA, Mr. Sean Lee, and McGraw Hill Vietnam, Ms. Vicky Pham, visited the Alaska Academy to conduct a direct training session for English teaching staff. This visit is part of the ongoing collaboration between McGraw Hill and Alaska, following Alaska’s official adoption of McGraw Hill textbooks.
📍 For the 2025-2026 academic year, the McGraw Hill experts focused their training on updated content for the Inspire Science curriculum, as well as important considerations for the new Level Up Through Digital Discoveries Curriculum (ICT Program). The ICT Program will be introduced for students in grades 2 through 5 starting this academic year.
📍 Regarding the Inspire Science curriculum, Mr. Sean Lee provided an overview that helped teachers understand its value and the expected student learning outcomes aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (US). He also led classroom simulation exercises designed to deepen teachers’ understanding of the curriculum’s specific instructional methods.
📍 Mr. Sean Lee praised Alaska’s innovative approach and dedication to global educational trends through the adoption of the ICT Program. He highlighted that Alaska is among a select group of educational systems worldwide to boldly integrate this McGraw Hill program. By equipping students early on with foundational knowledge in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Digital Tools, Mr. Lee expressed his hope that the ICT Program will empower Alaska students to stay abreast of global developments and become effective, digitally savvy citizens. ❤️
