ALASKA ACADEMY: SCHOOL SWIMMING COMPETITION FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

On December 20, 2024, nearly 60 enthusiastic students from Alaska International School participated in the school swimming competition for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The organizing committee chose The Legend Tower swimming pool as the venue for the competition. This is a year-round saltwater pool located in the heart of Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi. With dimensions of 25m x 8m and a gradually deepening depth from 1.2m to 1.4m, along with modern water filtration and heating systems, The Legend Tower can effectively accommodate the competition events.

The competition events include:

– Breaststroke (50m, 100m)

– Freestyle (50m, 100m)

– Backstroke (50m)

To ensure the successful identification of the best-performing swimmers for the upcoming District Swimming Competition, the organizing committee invited coaches from the Capital Swimming Club to help organize the event, guide the participants on the rules and regulations, and serve as referees throughout the competition.

In the end, the top-performing Alaskids were selected to participate in the District Swimming Competition. We hope that the students will continue to practice diligently, not only to improve their health but also to achieve high results in the next competition
