💥 After two exciting days of competition, the Preliminary Round of the “Conquering the Alaska Peak” contest for the 2024 – 2025 school year has identified the resilient and talented climbers from five grade levels.
💥 Congratulations to the 77 out of 555 Alaskids who have made it to the Final Round:
💥 With a system of multiple-choice questions covering knowledge in three areas: Math, English, and Social Understanding, the Alaskids participating in the contest have demonstrated their ability to learn and explore evenly across these fields.
🔴 On Thursday, November 14th – 77 Alaskids will continue to compete in the Final Round (individual competition) to determine the First, Second, and Third place winners of the contest and the “Outstanding Climber” for each class.
🔴 On Friday, November 15th – 21 class teams from Grades 1 to 5 will enter the Final Round (team competition) to find the “Outstanding Climbers.”
🌱 American author and climber Conrad Anker once summarized: “The summit is what drives us, but the climb itself is what matters.”
💕 Thank you to the little climbers of Alaska. We hope that by overcoming each round of the Conquering the Alaska Peak contest, you will remember and learn many valuable lessons to continuously aspire to and confidently conquer new heights.❤️
