REPRESENTATIVE OF COLLINS PUBLISHER VISITS AND WORKS AT ALASKA

🎯 This morning – September 30, 2024 – Ms. Annabel Tong Youn, the representative of Collins Publishing, and her colleagues met and worked at Alaska Academy.

🌱 Sharing about the textbook series from Collins being used in Alaska, starting from the 2024-2025 academic year, Ms. Annabel Tong Youn stated that this is a very popular curriculum in the English learning community due to its quality and effective teaching methods.

🌱 In addition to the textbooks for students from beginner to advanced levels, Collins also offers a rich variety of related resources (picture books, interactive stories, videos, songs…), which Alaska can fully utilize to make learning English more creative, enjoyable, and effective for young learners. This is especially relevant for subjects such as Wellbeing and Global Perspectives.

🌱 After three months of using Collins resources which are aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, looking at the project products and tests of the Alaskids, Ms. Annabel Tong Youn expressed her happiness at the creativity in teaching shown by the Alaska teachers, as well as the effective knowledge acquisition by the first graders.
To continue supporting Alaska in enhancing the quality of English teaching and making the most effective use of Collins Publishing’s textbook series, Ms. Annabel Tong Youn noted that arrangements will continue to be made for specialists from the publisher to hold more sharing and training sessions with the Alaska professional staff, and supplementary learning materials will be provided as early as possible according to Alaska’s requests.❤️
