🎯 Today, the young learners in class JA2 at Alaska Preschool engaged in a delightful art session.
🌾 Using paper and watercolors, the children explored basic brushstrokes, including diagonal lines, straight lines, and curves, to create vibrant images of rice plants.
🌾 To give the rice grains a plump, golden appearance, the teacher carefully cut the ends of cotton swabs, dyed them yellow, and guided the children to dip them in glue and gently attach them to the rice plant stems. By the end of the lesson, each child had crafted a beautiful depiction of ripe rice grains.
🌾 This creative art activity not only helped the children develop skills like dotting and gluing, enhancing their dexterity and appreciation for the beauty of rice, but also taught them about the importance of rice plants—a vital food source for the Vietnamese people, providing the delicious, sticky rice they enjoy daily.
💕 Thank you for the engaging and meaningful lessons that make each day an exciting adventure for the children at Alaska Academy❤️
