ALASKA ACADEMY: LEARNING ONE MATHEMATICAL CONCEPT, GAINING MANY VALUABLE LESSONS

At Alaska International Elementary School, the 3A3 class had a wonderfully fun Math lesson by integrating Mathematics and History through a memory puzzle game.

Teacher Nguyễn Ngọc Diệp, with her curiosity and creativity, closely followed the curriculum framework of the textbooks to provide the Alaskids not only with the knowledge content of the “9 Times Table, 9 Division Table” but also with the excitement and joy of reasoning and discovering the appeal of Mathematics. The lesson also incorporated significant historical moments, such as the victory at Điện Biên Phủ on May 7 and the Liberation of the Capital on October 10, helping students understand the context and relevance of the mathematical concepts.
