📍 With math lessons condensed into 35 minutes, how can students understand the material and find the subject engaging rather than dry or difficult?
✳️ In search of an answer, teacher Đinh Khánh Châu from Alaska International School has created a lesson titled “ACUTE, OBTUSE, FLAT ANGLES” filled with creativity.
✳️ In this lesson, the 4A3 students were introduced to acute, obtuse, and flat angles through engaging activities, such as the movements of actors in a warm-up video and everyday items they encounter (hangers, paper fans, books, desks, etc.).
✳️ Instead of just listening to the teacher, Alaskids used large protractors to measure and identify angles; they expressed the names of angles through their body language; and they worked together to share slices of pizza to identify the corresponding angles for each slice.
▶️ As they navigated five planets—essentially five challenges set for the students—teacher Đinh Khánh Châu guided the Alaskids to recognize and solve problems related to acute, obtuse, and flat angles, all amid excitement and laughter.
